Ciao a tutti! Ebbene ancora una volta ho ritagliato un po di tempo per me e ho deciso ad andare a vedere una mostra speciale. Vi avevo detto che adoro l'arte ? (si almeno 10 volte oramai........) ecco non solo quella classica ma anche contemporanea per cui non potevo perdermi la mostra tenutasi al Moma - Museum of Modern Art - di Alighiero Boetti!
Frequento spesso il Moma, anche perche' con la mia tessera studente ho l'entrata totalmente gratuita per cui posso andare spesso senza trattenermi ore, ed ammirare particolari quadri, aree specifiche o mostre speciali. Ieri comunque davanti all'entrata offrivano 5$ di sconto sul prezzo del biglietto, 15% di sconto per il Moma Store, dove potete comprare ricordi,cataloghi,poster, e accessori vari.
Non mi dilunghero' ovviamente sulla storia di questo artista, basta andare su Wikipedia e leggere un po, ma avete mai visto quelle grandi opere con le mappe del mondo dove ogni paese e' indicato con la sua bandiera? gia' proprio quelle!
Hello everybody! Once again i made up some time for myself and i decided to visit the Moma, the Moma - Museum of Modern Art of New York, one of the most famous in the world for contemporary art! Did i tell you that i love art right? (yes maybe 10 times already) so i could have not missed the special exhibition about the artist Alighiero Boetti. I often go to Moma because having a student ID card it gives me free entrance therefore i could go more often and stay less time and focus on specific departments or special exhibitions. Anyway yesterday outside the Museum they were giving coupons with 5$ off the entrance ticket, 15% off Moma gift store and special discounts on the Moma Coffe Shop. Not bad for all the tourists who wish to save some bucks off all of these amazing venues !
I won't start talking about the artist right now, it is enough you google him or do a search on Wikipedia, but enjoy the wonderful pictures of his works!
Mi piace l'architettura interna , molto semplice per dare spazio alle opere d'arte. I love the Moma architecture, a bold design to give space to the artworks which almost comes alive on those walls.
Il MOMA e' uno dei musei piu frequentati, specialmente in estate, per cui bene programmare le proprie visite evitando le ore e i giorni di punta. Se volete risparmiare, ogni venerdi dalle 4pm alle 8pm ci sono biglietti gratuiti "target free tickets" ma la fila e' ridicola per cui preparatevi (mi e' stato detto che lo scorso Venerdi' la fila era lunghissima) . Moma is one of the most popular museum in the world, and it is very crowded especially during summertime therefore plan your visit accordingly! If you want to save some bucks, be aware that every Friday from 4pm to 8pm there are free ticket entrances "Target free tickets" but the line is incredible long so it is up to you and your wallet.
