Ciao a tutti, questo Marzo sembra il mese dell'arte in assoluto a New York! Tra la bellissima mostra sul futurismo Italiano di cui vi ho gia' parlato, al Whitney Biennale (di cui vi parlero) e la Armory Week oramai arrivata alla sua 16 edizione.
E' uno show dove gallerie d'arte e artisti e appassionati e critici si incontrano, scambiano le loro idee, fanno contrattazioni , propongono la nuova arte del 21 secolo e quella del 20mo secolo. Chissa' che non troviate un prossimo Andy Warehol proprio qui! Si tiene al Pier 92 e 94 sulla Hudson River (la 12th Avenue, l'ultima avenue a West di Manhattan che si chiama Hudson River Drive) e la 55th Strada, qui potete vedere la mappa. L'evento e' aperto fino a domani Domenica 9 Marzo dalle 12 alle 7pm . Il biglietto d'entrata costa 40$, per gli over 65 e studendi 20$ Enjoy!
Hello my friends! March is the month dedicated to Art in New York, i've already talked about the beautiful Italian futurism exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum but there are other events such as the Whitney Biennial (which i will make a post about in the next day or so) and the Armory Arts Week a show dedicated to contemporary and modern art with many galleries exhibiting their works. It is held at Pier 92 and 94 on the Hudson River Drive at 55th Street . The ticket cost 40$ and 20$ reduced for students and Seniors 65+ It is open till Sunday from 12pm to 7pm . Enjoy!
