Ciao a tutti! Nel mio blog post precedente vi ho gia' parlato di questo evento, la mostra delle Orchidee al New York Botanical Garden che si trova nel Bronx in New York. Bene oggi ho trovato il tempo di visitarlo e mi e' sembrata l'occasione giusta visto che fa ancora molto freddo ma la mostra ovviamente
si tiene in un ambiente chiuso e riscaldato e mooooltooo umido (l'ambiente preferito di molte orchidee) per qui quale occasione migliore di uscire di casa ma rimanere al calduccio? Ovviamente mi sono portata dietro tutto il mio equipment professionale e la mia fantastica Asahi Pentax DSLR (no non sono un'esperta...al contrario non ci capisco gran che di fotografia) e potrete trovare molte delle fotografie sulla mia pagina facebook e se non avete messo un "mi piace" sulla mia pagina fatelo subito perche' vi state perdendo il meglio di New York!
Di seguito alcune fotografie. Dopo avere visto le orchidee, poi vista la vicinanza (circa 6 miglia) mi sono recata a Fort Lee al confine NY/NJ ad uno dei tanti ristoranti Koreani (li c'e' una forte comunita' per cui si mangia benissimo) per un bel pranzetto (vi parlo dei ristoranti in quesot post) e con mio grande disappunto una delle mie pasticcerie preferite ha chiuso battenti! Comunque le alternative non mi mancano. Enjoy the show!
For my friends who can't speak Italian: Hello you all! in my previous blog post i've talked about one of the nicest exhibition held in New York this spring, the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden which opened actually today (although nothing screams spring so far...) , in the Bronx, NY. You can find the post here with directions to the NYBG. Today was the opening day and i thought it'd be a perfect day to attend as its still so cold outside,while the humid and nice temperature Orchids live in are much suitable to me than these freezing ones we are witnessing this winter. And so i went! And i was so happy! below you find only some of the pictures, you can find a ton on my facebook page and please if you did not like my Facebook page just LIKE IT NOW or you would be missing on all the major events happening in New York (at least i try to be your go to guide.....)
