Ciao a tutti! ritorna al Flat Iron District, quasi di fronte ad Eataly il Madison Square Eats, un evento gastronomico dal 1 al 28 Maggio. Tanti food stands ovvero camioncini che offrono ogni tipo di specialita' culinaria si uniranno in cerchio intorno alla piazza per offrire ai NewYorkesi tante buonissime leccornie. Potrete mangiare li dalle 11 fino alle 9 di sera, sedere sui carinissimi tavolinetti addobatti con ombrelloni e tovaglie in tema Marimekko e godervi
la bella vista sulla piazza e sul Flatiron Building. Lo scorso anno potevamo trovare gelato e macaroons, dalla cucina messicana, pizza, dalle ostriche, aragoste polpette arancine e tanto altron ancora! Un piccolo lembo di terra tagliato dalla Fifth Avenue e Broadway dalla 24th alla 25th Strada, dove gli stands si allineano sfilando uno dopo l'altro in mezzo al traffico caotico di New York City. Possiamo trovare il famoso ristorante Italiano di Brooklyn Roberta, Momofuku Milk Bar, Bar Susette che offre gustosissime crepes e tanti altri (la lista completa la trovate qui sotto) Come metropolitane potete prendere la linea 6 o N R e scendere a 23th Strada da li sono veramente due passi (con la linea 6 vi troverete ad un blocco di distanza, alla Park Avenue e 23 Strada) Qui il mio posto dello scorso anno con le fotografie. Hello you all! On May first the Madison Squareeats will be back in the Flatiron District to enlighten us with delicious meals from the world different cuisines! A series of food stands which will be set in circle offering different kind of foods in front of the beautiful Flatiron building. The food festival will be open every day from May 1st to May 28th from 11 am to 9 pm so you have plenty of time to try the different offerings. The actual location is Worth Square between 24th and 25th Street and between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, you can't miss it because you will see the lovely Marimekko themed umbrellas and table cloth which are so cute and perfect to freshen up the spring! You really will find different foods like ice cream and pizza, macaroons, korean, mexican and much more! You can see all of the partecipants in the above listing. To get there take the 6, N or R line and you will be real close (subway stop 23rd Street) This is a very popular area where to hang out and chill out, you can also walk through the Madison Square park, grab a quick espresso coffe at Eataly and then head down 5th Avenue for a bit of shopping.
